Completion of works at the Library of the Faculty of Health Sciences in Maribor

The entire investment included the reconstruction of the existing library and expansion with the construction of an extension. The building is divided into two floors, ground floor and gallery. The load-bearing structure itself is basically made of micro-laminated wooden primary and secondary elements, which also serves as bookshelves. The roof construction is equally made of microlaminated elements which are connected in the horizontal direction with cross-laminated wooden panels. We also carried out the external arrangement and arranged a corner for outdoor socializing with concrete prefabricated products.
