The InnoRenew project has been successfully completed!

Extensive and demanding construction on 8,200 square meters included the construction of two buildings, of which the larger building with three floors is entirely wooden construction and thus occupied the place of the largest wooden building in Slovenia. Over 850 m3 of wood was installed in it. A special feature of the building is certainly the wooden staircase, which was lowered in one piece through the roof of the building into its final place. The facility contains a series of cabinets, meeting rooms and, above all, research laboratories. As the facility itself is a research laboratory for how wood behaves by the sea, it has built in over a hundred sensor locations to monitor humidity, temperature and vibration. The second building is of concrete construction.
