Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ljubljana

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ljubljana are the clients of VG5 d.o.o. entrusted with the implementation of the renovation, extension and superstructure of the complex of the Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ljubljana at Vojkova cesta 74 in Ljubljana.

The company VG5 d.o.o. is returning to already familiar terrain, as in 2018 we carried out additions and reconstruction. Now we will build a building for the client that houses the medical unit. On the ground floor, there are 5 treatment rooms, an archive, a cleaning room and a corridor with a waiting room. On the first floor, there are 2 office spaces, 2 physiotherapy rooms and a gym for individual treatment. The facility will also acquire an elevator. The construction of the building will be wooden, and the appearance will be the same as the existing building, which we successfully completed in 2019.

On the other side of the complex of the Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Ljubljana, we will renovate the kitchen and add a dining room and a greenhouse. The addition will be of ground floor and light wooden construction with a flat partial pitched roof. As part of the extension, we will also rearrange the rooms in the immediate vicinity of the extension (kitchen and classroom).

In addition, part of the project also includes the renovation of the sewer system and the external and traffic arrangements, in which we will increase the area of the parking lot and thus obtain additional parking spaces, and above all, improve traffic flow.
