Opening of the business incubator "Kovačnica" in Kranj

The opening of the business incubator "Kovačnica" in Kranj took place recently. Kovačnica Coworking in Kranj is the first business incubator of its kind in the Gorenjska region, which is intended to help and support start-ups.
We renovated the building of the old post office in the strict city center of Kranj with 1,800.00 m2 of usable space. We converted the ground floor into multi-purpose and shared spaces with a multi-purpose hall, lobby, kitchenette and individual offices. The first and second floors have been converted into "open floor" offices, lecture rooms, meeting rooms and common areas. There are also sanitary blocks, a kitchenette, an audio-video studio, and we installed an elevator.
With the new, much-needed premises, young companies will get additional encouragement for the innovation drive of entrepreneurship in the region. From the current 50 users, they expect that the new premises will allow up to 100 users.
