Opening of the extension of the Biotechnical Faculty

With the investment in the construction of a new extension, the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana acquired new, high-quality areas, in the size of 475 m², for the implementation of the development research and pedagogical process. 

The opening was also attended by Minister dr. Maja Makovec Brenčič, who  addressed those attending. Among other things, the Minister said that the Government of the Republic of Slovenia had established the Directorate for Wood Industry, which showed that wood must have its place. “I hope that there will be cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Directorate of Wood Science and the Department of Wood Science of the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, especially due to the new acquisition, and that more  research projects will be developed into excellent achievements and create knowledge transfer into practice.”
