Opening of the Simon Jenko Primary School and Kindergarten in Kranj

Last week, the grand opening of the Simon Jenko kindergarten and primary school in Kranj took place.
VG5 d.o.o. has successfully completed all of the works on the facility. The subject of the contract works included energy and static rehabilitation of the existing school in the western part, renovation of the dining room, reconstruction of the eastern part, extension of the connecting corridor and extension to the existing school in the V part, including external arrangement. The extensive project was carried out by VG5 on almost 2,000 square meters of building area and a total of 4,500 square meters of outdoor space. We started the works on June 24, 2019, and if there was no epidemic, all the work would be completed in one year.
On September 1, over 500 schoolchildren and 100 preschool children entered the new premises in 4 new classes.
