Premises of the European Commission and Parliament in Ljubljana

17. Apr 2016
For Zavarovalnica Triglav we are renovating together with IMP d.d. the former Slovenijales store along Dunajska cesta in Ljubljana.

Representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission in Slovenia will find their premises in the renovated building. Part of the facility will also be used for trade, catering and sports activities.

The Slovenijales commercial and business facility was designed in 1975 and built a few years later. The author of the architecture is Milan Mihelič. The building has an exceptional architectural and structural design, as the entire building stands on eight pillars, which allows full transparency of the ground floor. The first floor is on a special bar construction, which is hung on the wall beams of the second floor. The second floor consists of high reinforced concrete prestressed beams, which are as high as a whole floor and laid on the basic eight pillars.

Finishing works are currently being carried out on facility.
