Renovation of part of the Rikard Benčič building in Rijeka

In Rijeka, Croatia, we are renovating part of the building in the former Rikard Benčić complex.
For the client City of Rijeka we are renovating the so-called "H part of the Rikard Benčić complex", in which the communication and gallery space of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will be revived. H part of the complex was originally built for the needs of a tobacco factory in the 90s of the 19th century and is under the protection of the Institute for Cultural and Historical Heritage.
In the existing part of the building, the interior spaces will be arranged in such a way as to preserve the external appearance and the load-bearing structure of the building, so that it can be used for museum spaces.
