Signing of a contract for energy renovation of the Nikola Tesla Primary School in Rijeka

The signing of the agreement, worth around 6.5 million kunas, was attended by the Mayor of Rijeka Vojko Obersnel, as the founder of the city and the school, and the director of commercial VG5 d.o.o. Bojan Žvanut and the director of the project office VG5 d.o.o. Katarina Pernuš

The head of the sector for programs and projects of the European Union, Ines Androić Brajčić, was also present at the signing ceremony, as the energy renovation of the school is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency.

The building was built between 1933 and 1934, and belongs to the protected cultural and historical heritage. After the energy renovation of the school, we expect a 47 % saving in thermal energy.
