In Zadar, the renovation and arrangement of the Rector's Palace was carried out within the agreed deadline. On Friday, 30 September2016, the Mayor of the Municipality of Zadar and his delegation visited the premises of the Rector's Palace, where they were received by representatives of the contractors, together with the construction supervision company Invest inženjering d.o.o. and representatives of the Conservation Department in Zadar.

The contract for the reconstruction of the cultural and historical building Rector's Palace in Zadar was signed by the company VG5 in March 2016, together with partners Inero d.o.o. in Krekić Avangard d.o.o. The project was mainly funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The Rector's Palace is a cultural heritage site of national importance and as such has also been technically and technologically reconstructed and controlled by the Zadar Conservation Department and the supervision company Invest inženjering d.o.o.

The implementation of the reconstruction was demanding, as the individual details contained touch of protected and modern elements. A special challenge was the work in the old town of Zadar at the peak of the tourist season.
