The foundation stone of the Žiri sports hall

Yesterday, 20 September 2018, we laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new sports hall in Žiri.
VG5 accepted the construction of a sports hall with connecting part to the primary school, external arrangements and arrangement of the playground for the kindergarten. The multi-purpose sports hall will consist of reinforced concrete columns, walls and beams. The roof structure is formed by wooden glued laminated timbers. The hall will have a floor plan of more than 4,500 m2 with 8,000 m2 of external arrangements and is thus the largest sports hall currently under construction in Slovenia.
